A burglary investigation is underway after someone broke into a local storage unit and stole over $6,000 worth of property.
Force was used to get into a storage facility in the 2100 block of Madisonville Road Road sometime Christmas Eve or Christmas Day and an unknown suspect took clothing, two televisions, kitchen appliances and other property, according to the Hopkinsville police report.
