CCHD reports 114 new COVID cases in last week

The Christian County Health Department has announced another 114 new cases of COVID-19 in the last week.

It brings the active case count to 208 and exactly half of those are between the ages of 22 and 59 and none of them are 85 or older.

Only 12 of the new cases are breakthrough cases of vaccinated individuals.

Approximately 3,300 people have gotten a vaccine booster dose through the health department.

The Christian County Health Department will close at 11:15 a.m. Wednesday with no COVID testing offered and will be closed Thursday and Friday for the Christmas holiday.
