Two injured in Glass Avenue accident

A two-vehicle accident Saturday night at Glass Avenue and North Elm Street injured two people.

A collision report from Hopkinsville police says 74-year old Viceroy Brison of Hopkinsville was southbound on Elm and stopped at Glass avenue and got out to check the status of one of his tires.

When a vehicle approached from behind, Brison told police he got back in his car and looked both ways, but didn’t see an eastbound car on Glass Avenue driven by 25-year old Desirae Bower of Ashland City, Tennessee before driving into the intersection.

Their vehicles collided, causing injuries that sent Brison and Bower’s passenger—52-year old Tony Hick of Michigan—by EMS to Jennie Stuart Medical Center for non-life-threatening injuries.
