There will not be a white Christmas this year and in fact, you’re more likely to see folks out wearing short-sleeves
Meteorologist Derrick Snyder with the National Weather Service says a cool start to the week will lead to a warming trend and there are no major weather events in the forecast.
Christmas Day will likely have high temperatures in the 60’s—good for traveling and spending time outdoors—but detrimental to any hopes of building a snowman.
Snyder says crews are still working across the region to complete surveys of damage from the December 10 and 11 severe weather outbreak.
