Boys: University Heights routed Fort Campbell in the 8th district opener for both teams 66-16. The Blazers were led by Lemar Northington’s 11 points in improving to 2-3 overall and 1-0 in the district. The Falcons were led in scoring by Aiden Blaszkowsi with six points in falling to 1-2 overall and 0-1 in the district.
In other action: Todd Central crushed Foundation Christian 58-13 and McCracken County over St. Mary 73-46.
Girls: University Heights got its first win and district win of the season in downing Fort Campbell 45-12. Alecia Davis led the Lady Blazers with 25 points as UHA improved to 1-4 overall and 1-0 in district play. The Lady Falcons were led by Jaida Ezcaman’s five points in falling to 0-5 and 0-1 in district play.
Other Scores: Lyon County over Paducah Tilghman 66-48 and Castle, IN topped Henderson County 48-43.
