Ky. gains 2,582 COVID cases, 35 deaths

The positivity rate went up once again in Kentucky, which also added 2,582 cases of COVID-19 and 35 deaths.

Those deaths brought the death toll in the Commonwealth up to 11,754, as the positivity rate reached 8.94 percent.  There are currently 1,255 individuals in the hospital with COVID-19, 329 in the ICU and 195 on a ventilator.

On the COVID-19 state incidence rate map, Christian, Caldwell and Lyon Counties were labelled as ‘orange’, while Todd, Trigg, Hopkins, Muhlenberg and Logan Counties were all listed as ‘red’.
