Governor Andy Beshear says the number of deaths from last week’s tornadoes is now believed to be at 77.
Breaking down the numbers, Governor Beshear says the tornadoes that ravaged the western part of the state are now the deadliest in the state’s history.
The governor explained Kentucky is going through a lot right now, but it isn’t defeated or broken. As the missing person list whittles down and more federal aid comes in, the governor says the mission is changing, as they focus on law enforcement in devastated areas, saying there have been reported lootings.
