Christian County is back ‘orange’ on the COVID-19 state incidence rate map as Kentucky as a whole gained 2,507 COVID cases from Wednesday to Thursday.
There were 26 newly reported deaths, putting the death toll in the Commonwealth at 11,719—the positivity rate increased again, now at 8.84 percent. There are currently 1,236 individuals in the hospital with COVID-19, 315 in the ICU and 193 on a ventilator.
Todd and Trigg County remain ‘red’ on the incidence rate map, while Christian has gone ‘orange’—the bulk of western Kentucky is also still ‘red’.
