Daivyon McKnight recorded his first triple double with 11 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists-the fourth in WKU history and the second this season as the Hilltoppers downed Centre College 90-52. Jamarion Sharp had six points, six rebounds and six blocks as the Hilltoppers improved to 7-4. WKU hosts Louisville Saturday afternoon at 1:30.
Louisville was an easy winner over Southeastern Louisiana 86-60. Malik Williams had 15 points and 10 rebounds for the Cardinals, now 7-3 on the season.
18th ranked Tennessee picked up a 96-52 win over SC Upstate. The Vols improved to 8-2 heading into a Saturday game at Memphis.
Austin Peay fell at South Florida 60-51. Cam Copeland led the Governors with 12 points as they fell to 4-5 on the season. Austin Peay is back in action Saturday afternoon at Vanderbilt.
Tonight’s Games
Murray State plays a men’s/women’s doubleheader at the CFSB Center. The women host North Alabama at 5 pm with the men meeting Tennessee Wesleyan in the nightcap.
