U.S. Senator Rand Paul says the response to the weekend’s historic severe weather has brought out the best of people in the worst of times.
The Bowling Green resident was at home when the tornado hit Warren County and while his family was able to avoid any damage or injuries, he says he toured the path of destruction in Warren County.
Senator Paul says he’s pleased with the state and federal government response so far and he’s also uplifted by the generosity of individuals and businesses.
The Paul re-election campaign donated $100,000 to six local charities in the communities where the worst of the tornadoes hit to support the victims in the days and weeks ahead.
