Electricity remains out in Crofton, but Kentucky Utilities officials say their crews are working to get the lights back on as quickly as possible.
Crofton is the only Christian County community served by Kentucky Utilities and the KU outage map shows 730 customers without power in that area.
Liz Pratt with KU says they are having to rebuild infrastructure in many cases across the region and that takes time.
She says they have contracted crews assisting KU linemen in western Kentucky and they’re working as quickly and safely as possible to get the lights back on.
Much of southern Hopkins County that’s served by Kentucky Utilities is also without power.
