The Christian County School Board has decided to have all district schools remain closed for Tuesday, December 14.
According to a news release, the district plans to reopen all schools on Wednesday, with the exception of Pembroke and Crofton Elementary schools. Pembroke will remain closed for storm-related repairs and Crofton Elementary will open once power is restored to the building.
Superintendent Chris Bentzel says, “The additional day will allow for all roads to be safe for travel, additional power to be restored to the community and all our operational plans to be in place. Additionally, we have families and staff members who need additional support at this time.”
Food Services will be available through the remainder of the week from schools and mobile sites from 11am-1pm.
There is no Non-Traditional Instruction for any CCPS school closed this week. This week’s missed school days will not be added to the school calendar.
