The Christian County Health Department reported another eight COVID-19 deaths locally Monday.
According to a news release, the death certificates were reviewed by the Mortality Review Group, they were determined to be related to COVID-19 and then the Christian County Health Department was notified.
The victims include a 75-year-old Caucasian male, a 66-year-old Caucasian female, a 76-year-old Caucasian female, a 63-year-old Caucasian male, a 61-year-old Caucasian female, an 82-year-old Caucasian male, a 62-year-old African American male and a 66-year-old Caucasian male, who was vaccinated. The other seven were not vaccinated.
It brings the death toll in Christian County from the pandemic up to 152.
