Investigation by the Christian County Sheriff’s Office Anti-Crime Unit has led to the arrests of three suspects on methamphetamine trafficking charges.
Deputies served two search warrants Wednesday in the 200 block of Dogwood Drive and the 1700 block of South Virginia Street in Hopkinsville and seized several kinds of pills, methamphetamine, marijuana, drug paraphernalia, large amounts of cash, and three firearms.
Investigation led to the arrests of 43-year-old Christy Smith-Rojas and 37-year-old Robert Lee Bacon on South Virginia Street and 36-year-old Joseph Lee King on Dogwood.
All three are charged with trafficking in meth and opiates, with the South Virginia suspects also charged with trafficking amphetamines, trafficking narcotics within 1,000 feet of a school, and possession of a handgun by a convicted felon.
Deputies also arrested 36-year-old Angela Sutton for three probation violation and two failure to appear warrants.
