Over 3,000 new COVID cases reported Wednesday, positivity rate down slightly

Governor Andy Beshear reported 3,032 new cases of COVID-19 Wednesday and a positivity rate that was down slightly to 9.14 percent.

There were also 70 deaths reported, bringing the state’s death toll to 11,148.

There are 1,144 Kentuckians in the hospital with the virus, 312 in the ICU an d179 on a ventilator.

Christian and Todd counties remain orange on the incidence rate map, while the remainder of the Pennyrile region is red.
