An EF1 tornado touched down early Monday morning in Graves and Calloway County.
A survey by the National Weather Service in Paducah determined the twister with maximum winds of 100 mph touched down three miles northeast of Lynnville and went back into the clouds nine minutes later at 3:43 a.m. about four miles southwest of Murray.
Three large pole barns were destroyed, there was roof damage to homes, damage to vehicles and numerous trees snapped or uprooted.
The tornado was about 500 yards wide and there were no reports of any injuries.
