Three homes damaged, no injures after severe weather in Todd County

No one was injured when three homes were damaged by what was likely a tornado early Monday morning in Todd County.

Todd County Emergency Management Director Daniel Smith says there’s a path of damage from US 68 heading northeast to Clay Cole Road.

Three homes were damaged—all on Pond River Road—and the residents will able to continue living in at least two of them.

A trailer that was being used for construction storage was blown onto its side on Blue and Gray Park Road and several outbuildings in that area were also damaged.

There were scattered power outages and downed trees across the county.

The National Weather Service in Paducah will be sending a team at some point to assess the damage to determine if it was caused by a tornado or straight-line winds, but Smith says it initially appears to him that a tornado did touch down Monday morning.
