Hopkinsville Community College Chief Institutional Advancement Officer Yvette Eastham was named the 2021 Beth K. Fields Award recipient during the annual Council for Advancement and Support of Education in Kentucky.
According to a news release, the award is the most prestigious within CASE Kentucky and recognizes the individual who continually goes above and beyond the call of duty in both their advancement profession and CASE Kentucky.
Eastham says, “I’m humbled and honored to be selected by my peers for this award, which is a tribute also to the donors I’ve had the pleasure of working with over the years. The work being done by philanthropy officers in community colleges across Kentucky is transformative to each area we serve, providing vital support to the sixteen colleges in the Kentucky Community and Technical College System. It is a distinction to be first community college professional recognized since the inception of the award in 1994, and I am incredibly grateful.”
Eastham has been with Hopkinsville Community College since 2008 and has been the recipient of numerous awards from CASE Kentucky, CASE District III, the National Council for Marketing and Public Relations and was most recently awarded a CASE Circle of Excellence Silver Award for “Fundraising on a Shoestring” campaign.
