Trenton’s Christmas parade returns Saturday after last year’s event was canceled by the pandemic.
City Commissioner Cara Anderson says the parade will go through downtown Trenton beginning at 4:30 p.m. and anyone who wants to enter the parade can line up beginning about 3:30 near Edgewood Cemetery.
There is no customary chili supper this year due to the pandemic, but Anderson says Trenton’s businesses will be open after the parade for Christmas shopping.
Parade attendees will be able to stand along Main Street in Trenton and take in the parade and the weather forecast is calling for dry conditions and temperatures in the 50’s.
