Hopkinsville, UHA, HCA and Fort Campbell win while Christian County loses Tuesday night

Muhlenberg County ended a three game losing streak to Christian County as the Mustangs defeated the Colonels 59-40 last night. The Colonels had only one player in double figures as Derrell Bateman had 13 points. Christian County faces host Marion in the Marion Black Diamond Shootout Saturday afternoon in Marion, IL.

Hopkinsville opened the Anthony Babb era with a 93-38 thrashing of Livingston Central. Five Tigers scored in double figures with Isaiah Manning leading the way with 16 points, Bubba Leavell added 15, Xavier Dowlen had 14, Kemarion Smith 11 and Daisjuan Mercer pitched in 10. The Tigers are back in action next Tuesday night hosting Barren County.

University Heights opened its season with a 72-48 win at Caldwell County. The Blazers are back in action Friday night at Madisonville, with the F&M Bank pregame show at 7:15 on News Radio 95.3 FM/1230 AM WHOP and whopam.com.

Heritage Christian Academy downed Montgomery Central 55-52. The Warriors are now 1-1 against KHSAA or TSSAA competition. Fort Campbell defated Pleasant View Christian 60-50. The Falcons host Clarksville Christian Friday night.
