Weather to warm this week

Warmer and drier than average weather is in the forecast this week for Western Kentucky.

Kevin Smith with the National Weather Service in Paducah says it could be as warm as 70 by the end of the week, before a light rain event brings in cooler temperatures over the weekend.

The long-range outlook is showing warmer and drier than average conditions next week.

Forecasters are expecting warmer than normal temperatures to persist through the first three full weeks of December, going through at least Christmas Eve.
