Titans waive running back Adrian Peterson

The Adrian Peterson era has come in an end in Tennessee. The Titans waived Peterson on Tuesday after three games with the team. The 36-year-old was signed to Tennessee’s practice squad on November 2nd following Derrick Henry’s injury, and three days later he was signed to the 53-man roster. Peterson had 27 carries for 82 yards and a touchdown in his three-game stint with the Titans. Tennessee also signed Hendersonville native Golden Tate to the practice squad yesterday. The Titans play at New England Sunday.
