Details have been released on a fatal single-vehicle accident from Thursday night near the state line on I-24 in Montgomery County that killed the driver.
The Tennessee Highway Patrol report says 20-year old Jillian Nicole Ross of Clarksville had been headed west near the 1 mile-marker a few minutes before midnight when her car went off the left side of the highway.
She over-corrected, causing her to go off the right side of the road, where she struck a tree.
Ross was pronounced dead at the scene and police say she was wearing her seat belt.
