Clarksville police are investigating a pair of shootings from Sunday that sent two victims to the hospital, though it’s unknown if the incidents are related.
The first happened about 4:45 p.m. in the 900 block of Greenwood Drive, where arriving officers found a man with multiple gunshot wounds. He was taken first to Tennova Hospital and then to Vanderbilt University Medical Center, where he was not expected to survive his injuries, according to a news release.
The second shooting happened just before 7 p.m. in the 400 block of Donna Drive in Clarksville, where a 61-year old man was shot in the back. He was also taken to Vanderbilt, where he was listed in serious condition.
Names of both victims have not been released.
