MORNING SPORTS BRIEFS 11/18/21

NFL
It will be a rematch of Super Bowl 51 tonight as the New England Patriots visit the Atlanta Falcons. New England enters the game riding a four-game winning streak. The 6-and-4 Patriots have yet to lose a game on the road so far this season. The Falcons are hoping to bounce back from a tough loss to the Dallas Cowboys. Atlanta is in last place in the NFC South at 4-and-5 under first-year head coach Arthur Smith.

NBA
Ja Morant and the Memphis Grizzlies are back in action this evening hosting the Los Angeles Clippers. The Grizzlies are 7-and-7 entering the matchup, but have lost three of their last four. The Clippers are 9-and-5.

NHL
The Nashville Predators game with the Ottawa Senators north of the border this evening is postponed due to Covid issues involving the Senators. The Predators will play at Montreal Saturday.

Golf

Princeton’s Emma Talley will begin her first round at the LPGA Tour’s CME Group Tour Championship at 9:15 this morning. The four day season ending event runs through Sunday in Naples, FL.

The PGA Tour’s RSM Classic begins today in Sea Island, GA. Nashville’s Brandt Snedeker is in the field.
