The Christian County Coroner’s Office has located next of kin of the man found dead after being struck by a train last week in Hopkinsville.
Coroner Scott Daniel identified the victim as 32-year old Joshua Daniel Bransford, originally from Mt. Juliet, Tennessee, but who had been living homeless in Hopkinsville.
Daniel says it was difficult to locate Bransford’s next of kin and he thanked Deputy Coroner Christy Adams for her assistance to find the family.
As previously reported, Bransford’s body was found near the 13th Street crossing in the early morning hours of November 11.
Hopkinsville police and the Christian County Coroner’s Office investigated the incident.
