Christian County saw an uptick of COVID cases, as the Christian County Health Department reported 133 new cases locally since last week.
According to a news release, those new cases put the total since the pandemic began at 10,896—of that, 195 cases are considered active and 10,565 people have recovered from the virus. Christian County has had 136 COVID-19 deaths.
COVID-19 vaccines are available to individuals 12 and up Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7:45 AM – 4:15 PM. Children ages 5 – 11 are eligible for a pediatric dose of the Pfizer vaccine at CCHD every Wednesday from 7:45 AM – 4:15 PM.
