The Christian County Health Department is now offering COVID vaccinations for children between the ages of five and 11 on Wednesdays.
The appointments and walk-in vaccinations for children 5 to 11 are Wednesday from 7:45 until noon and from 1 until 4:15 p.m. at the health department on Canton Street.
Wait times can be avoided by making an appointment at christiancountyhd.com.
The Christian County Health Department offers vaccines to anyone 12 and up Tuesdaays and Thursdays during the same hours and appointments can also be made on their website.
The Christian County School System says they are looking into partnering with WildHealth clinic to administer COVID-19 vaccines to children ages 5 and up in the future.
