Murray State’s KJ Williams was named the OVC’s Player of the Week. Williams averaged 22 points in two wins and had a career high 32 points against Cumberland. The Racers are back in action at Illinois State tomorrow night.
Meanwhile, Austin Peay’s Elijah Hutchins-Everett was named as Co-OVC Newcomer of the Week. The freshman averaged 18 points and 6.5 rebounds in two games last week. The Governors play at Purdue Fort Wayne tomorrow night.
