The first round of the PGA Tour’s Houston Open was suspended Thursday due to darkness. Four players have a share of the top spot on the leaderboard at the time play was suspended. Russell Henley, Talor Gooch, Marc Leishman, and Luke List are all currently tied at five-under par. List is only through the first 15 holes of play. Nashville’s Brandt Snedeker did complete his first round and finished at four over.
The PGA Tour Champions is at Phoenix Country Club for the season ending Charles Schwab Cup event. Phil Mickelson, Jim Furyk and Kirk Triplett are tied for the lead at six under. Franklin’s Kenny Perry is tied for 15th at three under.
