Titans Stifle Rams, Stafford In LA

(Inglewood, CA)  —  The Titans had 194 total yards and were still able to blow out the Rams in their own building.  Tennessee picked off Matthew Stafford twice in its 28-16 win over the Rams in Inglewood.  Early in the second quarter, David Long intercepted Stafford deep in Rams territory, then on the very next series Kevin Byard took back a 24-yard pick-6 to shift the tone of the game.  Ryan Tannehill threw for 143 yards, one touchdown, one pick and rushed for a score.  Adrian Peterson scored on a one-yard run in the fourth quarter for his first touchdown as a Titan. Titans head coach Mike Vrabel says Tennessee is improving each week.

Stafford finished with 294 passing yards, one touchdown and two interceptions.  Aaron Donald and Leonard Floyd each had one sack for Los Angeles. Rams head coach Sean McVay the team needs to learn from this loss.

Both teams are 7-and-2 after Tennessee’s win.
