A two-vehicle accident Sunday afternoon in Madisonville injured one of the drivers.
It happened a few minutes after noon, according to a news release from Madisonville police, which says 33-year old John Ballie of Madisonville was attempting to turn left from East McLaughlin Avenue onto South Main Street and drove into the path of a westbound van operated by 61-year old Diane Rhye of Madisonville.
Their vehicles collided and Rhye was taken by ambulance to Baptist Health Hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
