Rain and cooler temperatures are expected to return to the region late this week, with no major weather stories appearing to be on the horizon.
High temperatures each day through Wednesday afternoon will be rather mild in the upper 60’s to lower 70’s, but Dan Spaeth with the National Weather Service in Paducah says a cold front will arrive Thursday and bring rain and cooler weather.
The long-range outlook shows cooler and drier than average conditions next week.
Thursday’s rainmaker isn’t expected to create any major issues, with only about a quarter of an inch of rain in the forecast.
