An Evansville, Indiana couple was injured in a fiery, vehicle versus deer accident early Sunday morning on the Pennyrile Parkway in Christian County.
Christian County Sheriff’s Deputy Andy Sanderson says the pickup went off the parkway and caught fire after hitting the deer just before 4 a.m. near the 18 mile-marker.
The couple was taken by EMS to Jennie Stuart Medical Center and their injuries were not thought to be life-threatening. The Crofton Volunteer Fire Department was called to the scene to extinguish the fire.
