Guthrie City Councilman Zollie Rose has filed his papers to run for mayor of Todd County’s second-largest city in 2022.
Rose says he loves Guthrie and believes he can do more for the town as mayor than he is able to do on council.
He believes Guthrie has the potential for growth and wants to help others inside and outside of the community see the same vision.
Rose believes Novelis can help Guthrie grow and says everyone has been pleased with the industry’s community involvement initiatives.
He says he’ll represent all sections of Guthrie equally, if elected.
Guthrie’s mayoral and city council elections are non-partisan.
