There are six newly-reported cases of COVID-19 over the last several days in Todd County and 22 in Trigg County.
Only one if the six in Todd County has been vaccinated and one of the cases is a past case that was just recently reported by a doctor’s office. All six have isolated at home with varying symptoms and only one of Todd County’s ten active cases is in the hospital, according to Public Health Director Jen Harris.
Meanwhile, Trigg County had by far the most new cases in the Pennyrile District Health Department’s footprint, with all 13 adults and nine minors isolating at home.
Todd County remains the only yellow county in the Pennyrile region, Trigg is still red and has the highest incident rate in Western Kentucky and Christian County is orange.
