>>Derrick Henry Out Indefinitely

(Nashville, TN)  —  Titans’ star running back Derrick Henry is out indefinitely after suffering a foot injury.  The NFL’s leading rusher injured his right foot in Sunday’s game against the Indianapolis Colts in the first quarter and went back into the game after being injured.  Henry will undergo surgery today, according to head coach Mike Vrabel.  He did not share a timetable on when Henry could return.  ESPN reports that the Titans are concerned he has a Jones fracture that could end his season.  Henry also leads the league in carries and rushing touchdowns.

>>Report: Titans Sign Adrian Peterson

(Nashville, TN)  —  The Titans are bringing in a future hall-of-famer to help out at running back.  The NFL Network reports Tennessee signed Adrian Peterson to the practice squad on Monday, with the plan to elevate him to the active roster.  The 36-year-old Peterson rushed for 604 yards and seven touchdowns last season with the Detroit Lions.  He adds much-needed depth after Derrick Henry was placed on the injured reserve.

>>Chiefs Survive Giants On Monday Night

(Kansas City, MO)  —  The Chiefs are celebrating a 20-17 victory over the New York Giants on Monday Night Football in Kansas City. Patrick Mahomes threw for 275 yards, one touchdown, and an interception in the win for KC.  The Chiefs are back to .500 at 4-and-4.  Daniel Jones threw a pair of touchdowns and a pick in the loss for the Giants.  New York is now 2-and-6 on the year.
