A Freeze Warning is now in effect for all of Western Kentucky from 1 until 9 a.m.Thursday morning and a Frost Advisory is in effect until 9 o’clock this morning
Low temperatures Thursday morning are expected to fall into the upper 20’s and that would spell the area’s first freeze of the season.
Mike York with the National Weather Service in Paducah says the season’s first freeze is coming later in the fall than the historical average.
Friday and Saturday morning’s low are also expected to fall below freezing, meaning we could have three straight nights with frost and freezing conditions.
