With different communities, neighborhoods, businesses and churches having trick-or-treating at different times on this Halloween weekend, Kentucky State Police say it’s a good idea for motorists to be on the lookout for little ghosts and goblins at any time through Sunday night.
Trooper Corey King says slow down and be on the lookout for trick-or-treaters to help keep everyone safe.
Parents and guardians can do their part by being sure trick-or-treaters have a flashlight or glowstick to be as visible as possible and be sure there’s always s an adult nearby to keep them safe from traffic or any other dangers.
There will be an extra police presence in many areas to help make sure trick-or-treating goes safely and smoothly.
