One arrest, one sought in Cadiz armed robbery

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

A Cadiz man has been arrested and a Hopkinsville man is being sought in connection with an armed robbery that occurred in Trigg County Saturday.

According to a news release from Kentucky State Police, the incident occurred on Woodland Drive in Cadiz around 3 p.m. Saturday, when the victim reported that two men entered the residence, demanded money and marijuana, and pointed weapons at two people. The suspects were identified as 18-year-old Noah Beaudry of Cadiz and 19-year-old Dequain Mayes of Hopkinsville.

Beaudry has been located and arrest—he is charged with first-degree robbery, first-degree burglary and theft by unlawful taking.

The search continues for Mayes, who has a warrant out for his arrest on charges of first-degree robbery, first-degree burglary and theft by unlawful taking.
