The Christian County Health Department reported 72 new cases of COVID-19 locally in the last week Thursday.
According to a news release, of those 72 new cases, only seven were vaccinated, and it brings the overall total up to 10,624. There are currently 122 active cases and 10,371 people have recovered from the virus.
Christian County has had 131 COVID-19 related deaths.
