The Atlanta Braves got good offense early and downed the Houston Astros 6-2 in Game One of the World Series last night in Houston. Jorge Soler and Adam Duvall each homered for the Braves, with Soler’s home run on the third pitch of the game. Atlanta starter Charlie Morton exited the game after suffering a fractured bone in his leg after being hit by a line drive. A.J. Minter earned the win. Carlos Correa and Chas McCormick drove in runs in a losing effort for the Astros. Framber Valdez was assessed the loss. Game Two is tonight at Minute Maid Park.
