Rain appears to be a distinct possibility Friday afternoon, but Hopkinsville’s downtown trick or treating will happen whether it’s downtown or indoors.
Hopkinsville Parks and Recreation Superintendent Tab Brockman appeared on WHOP Monday morning and says they’ll move it to the SportsPlex if it looks like heavy rain is coming.
Businesses, churches and agencies from across the city will participate, just as they did for last year’s drive-thru event.
Downtown trick or treating is scheduled for 3:30 to 5:30 and local youngsters can wear their costumes and get candy.
