A man was fatally shot Sunday afternoon in Madisonville and his wife was arrested.
Madisonville police responded to a call that a husband had been shot by his wife at about 3:30 p.m. at a location on South Harrig Street.
The victim is identified as 61-year old Benigno Feliciano of that residence and he was taken to an out-of-state hospital, where he died from his injuries during surgery.
His wife, 54-year old Ravan Hamlett of the home, was arrested and charged with first-degree assault—though it’s likely her charge will be amended with the victim’s death.
