A Princeton man was killed in an accident involving a box truck Friday afternoon on KY 293 in Lyon County.
Kentucky State Police say 61-year old Daniel Svoboda of Princeton had been operating a Penske box truck pulling a trailer in the 1600 block at about 2:40 p.m. when for unknown reasons his truck went off the road and struck a culvert.
The vehicle then crossed back over the roadway and overturned.
Svoboda was not wearing a seat belt and was ejected. He was taken by EMS to Caldwell County Hospital, where he was pronounced dead from his injuries.
