Five people were injured in a rear-end collision Thursday night on West Seventh Street.
A collision report from Hopkinsville police says 32-year old Lakeya Gardner of Hopkinsville was headed east near Sonic and was stopped waiting for traffic to pass so she could make a left turn.
Approaching from behind was 26-year old Debra Howeard of Hopkinsville, who said she didn’t see that Gardner was stopped and rear-ended her car, causing severe damage to both vehicles.
Howeard, Gardner and three minor passengers in Gardner’s vehicle were all taken by EMS to Jennie Stuart Medical Center for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
