Chris Taylor is keeping the Los Angeles Dodgers postseason hopes alive. Taylor mashed three home runs to lead Los Angeles to an 11-2 win over the Atlanta Braves last night in Game Five of the National League Championship Series. The infielder became the first player in MLB postseason history to hit three homers in an elimination game.
Freddie Freeman drove in both of Atlanta’s runs with a two-run bomb in the first. Atlanta still leads the series three games to two with Game Six on Saturday night at Truist Park.
The Houston Astros host the Boston Red Sox in Game Six of the American League Championship series tonight at Minute Maid Park. With a win, the Astros will head to the World Series. Houston leads the series 3-2.
