Princeton’s Emma Talley had a one under 71 Wednesday at the LPGA Tour’s BMW Ladies Championship in Korea. She trails leader Na Rin An by seven shots. Round two tees off later this evening US time.
On the PGA Tour, Hiroshi Iwata has the first round lead at the Zozo Championship in Japan. Iwata fired a seven-under 63 to take a one stroke lead over Hideki Matsuyama and Joaquin Niemann, who are tied for second place at six-under-par, while Matt Wallace is fourth at minus-five. American Brendan Steele sits alone in fifth place, three shots off the lead.
