A lawyer for former University of Tennessee football coach Jeremy Pruitt is giving the school until October 29th to reach a financial settlement or face a lawsuit he says will include “details of myriad NCAA rules violations in the football program and other sports and result in debilitating NCAA sanctions” according to ESPN. Attorney Michael Lyons of Dallas requested a meeting to resolve Pruitt’s demands for a $12.6 million buyout that he claims he is owed after being fired in January for alleged rules violations in his program. The university said he was terminated with cause and is owed nothing.
