University Heights finished third in the Gold Division of the Toyota of Hopkinsville-West Kentucky Smackdown Saturday defeating Hopkinsville, then losing two sets to none to Sayre and defeating Crittenden County 2-0.
After losing to UHA in the final pool play match Saturday morning, Hopkinsville defeated Trigg County two sets to one in the Silver Division and then lost to Christian County 2-0.
Christian County won the Silver Division in its win over Hopkinsville in the final but before that defeated McLean County 2-0 in the semifinals and Crittenden County in their final pool play match Saturday.
